Forth Sunday of the Apostles

Mass Intentions for Sunday. Let us pray and plead to God, the Lord, for

all the children of the church, especially the Sick and the Neediest, For the Peace in Iraq and throughout the world. and for the Perpetual Intentions

of our beloved deceased as listed upon the Altar, and in memory of:

Martyred Father Rageed Ganny and his three deacons’ friends –1st year ann.

Putrus Mina Sigmany – 1st year anniversary.

Sawsan Haji – died in Detroit.

Madlen Habba Gattah- died in Detroit.

Markos Mansour – died in Mousel.

Suad Abbo Zaha – died in Alkosh.

May this offering be accepted for them and for all of us for ever.

 

Weddings:

 

1- Tomorrow Sunday at 5:00 p.m., we will celebrate the wedding of:

     Rayed Salim and Lena Thewayne.

Notes for Sunday:

1- Next Monday at 8:00 pm,we will offer a Rosary for 1st year anniversary of martyred Father Ganny and his three deacos’ friends.

2- There are 590 students at St. Peter’s Catechism school this year,

and (96)  teachers. Among them 156 students (81 boys) and (75 girls)

 are receiving the Sacrament of Confession and First Communion. The Communion celebration will begin this Friday from 6-8pm (74 boys &girls), and Saturday from 9:30-11:30 am (82 boys &girls).

3- Next Tuesday the Parish council will meet at 7:00 pm.

4- Next Thursday will start St. Anthony’s Novena and ends in

      his feast day on June 13.

5- Next Friday is first Friday of the month, and there will be no Sodality’s

    prayers because we will have the First Communion Mass.

6- The knights of Columbus\ Mar Toma council are honoring the 2008

     high School, college, and university graduates at St. Peter’s on

     June 29th. Please fill out the application and submit it by June 15th.

7- This Sun. the new issue of sawra newsletter will be available

      in front the church.
